While it may seem like all pantyhose share the same level of sheerness, there is in fact a wide range of sheerness levels that pantyhose exist in. There’s even a number scale that’s printed on each pantyhose package to let you know what you’re buying. The range starts at the somewhat arbitrary number of 3, which signifies very thin, barely visible pantyhose, and goes all the way up to the number 70, which signifies opaque pantyhose (which means not clear). So a number 70 pair of pantyhose wouldn’t show the legs at all, and most people would probably label these tights instead of pantyhose. For reference, standard sheer pantyhose, the most frequently worn kind, have a ranking of 20.

I, like most men I think, prefer pantyhose to be right in the 20 range. I don’t want them to be so thin that you can’t see them, but I like to be able to see the leg too. I like to be able to watch the calves and see the muscles move just a little bit as a woman walks in her heels. I especially like to see a wonderful ass encased in pantyhose, the two globes of sexy flesh straining against the tight material. If you’re ever lucky enough to get a woman to model her pantyhose ass for you without a skirt, be sure you watch closely. The ass sways back and forth sexily as she walks, and the switch of the pantyhose as her thighs come together and depart quickly fills the air with eroticism.

In addition, the more sheer a pair of pantyhose is the softer the material is going to feel, simply because they’re going to be less of it there. When you’re dealing with a normal sheerness, rating 20, what you’re feeling is partly the material of the pantyhose and partly the leg beneath them. If you were to roll that same pair of pantyhose up your own leg (which isn’t a half bad idea by the way) you would notice that they didn’t feel nearly as soft as when they’re on the shaven, moisturized leg of a beautiful woman. When you combine the pantyhose with the freshly shaven leg of a beautiful woman you have what I like to think of as a little slice of heaven. Just closing your eyes and running your hands up and down the beautiful, toned pantyhose covered leg of a sexy woman is enough to produce a strong boner. I’m imagining it right now and it’s got my blood flowing.

In truth, I can’t really imagine why someone would prefer 70 rating pantyhose. To completely cover up the leg, which is just as big a part of a pantyhose fetish as the hose themselves, seems criminal to me. I want to see the leg in all of its glory, or at least part of its glory. I want to be able to feel the skin through the pantyhose. When I kiss the pantyhose covered legs I want it to feel at least a little bit like I’m planting a kiss on a real leg, not just a piece of cloth. Because of all this, I’ll take my pantyhose sheer, please.
