What Is So Special About Sheer Pantyhose

A pantyhose fetish is among the most common of fetishes, but it’s interesting to note that the majority of pantyhose fetishists prefer their women in sheer pantyhose as opposed to the higher denier fabric which would be opaque. Why would this be the case and what are the underlying causes? There are to definitive answers to these questions but I will venture some guesses in this article in an attempt to shed some light on the subject.

One possibility is that, quite simply, sheer pantyhose are far more popular among women. One thing we do know is that a pantyhose fetish (in the true sense of the word) is formed in childhood while your brain is still in its early stages. Therefore it would stand to reason that if the woman you were fixating on as a child only wore sheer pantyhose, you would then only be attracted to women in sheer pantyhose. If the fetish forms at a very early age and doesn’t become sexual until your twenties it would seem difficult to argue any other reason for the sheerness being a factor.

However, I will try and make such an argument anyway; especially because I believe it holds some weight. I believe that for men with pantyhose fetishes that part of the attraction to the hose is being able to see what’s underneath. This includes being able to see the skin of the legs as well as what is probably the more important part, being able to see the pussy of the woman they are with. Quite often a pantyhose fetish becomes more about the covering of the pussy in the soft, smooth material of the nylon than it does about the legs. Therefore, it would stand to reason that it’s quite important for the fetishist to be able to see the pussy. At the very least I believe this plays some part in the obsession and both this and the above reason combine to form the reason why sheer pantyhose in particular are so important to men.
